Welcome to Foreign Student Center
SIOL Shanghai Foreign Student Center is an institute specialized in Teaching Mandarin Chinese. It is
another milestone of international student teaching after TLI-SIOL, one of the most-established and
best-known Chinese language institute in Shanghai. For long time, TLI-SIOL has developed a set of
well-accepted teaching methods suiting the instruction to the student's level.
SIOL shanghai foreign student center is specialized in giving training to those international students
in the universities who are lack of oral practices, and who need communication skill guidance. The
center is also aimed at providing an easy environment for students to motivate them in speaking
Chinese freely. The characteristics of the center are as following: focus on listening and speaking,
to cultivate students’ linguistic sense, and to emphasize on the language using.
